What is IBM Tivoli® Application Dependency Discovery (TADDM)?
TADDM provides an unparalleled level of visibility into how the infrastructure actually delivers the applications that the business counts on. Furthermore, by augmenting application map data with other enterprise application data such as governance, finance, etc., TADDM delivers integrated, meaningful information that will allow you to transform your IT service management (ITSM) strategy.
What problems does TADDM solve?
Today’s composite applications (e.g. J2EE, .NET, etc.) consist of large numbers of infrastructure components with complex run-time dependencies. Without visibility into these applications and their supporting infrastructure, it is difficult to effectively deliver and manage mission critical business services. This problem has become even more acute with the accelerating rate of change in today’s application infrastructure.
